this backstory deals with abuse, both emotional and physical, by a parent, violence, threats of violence, and gruesome topics. read with care .cobwebpaw was born to a kittypet mother, wynn, and a rogue father, REDACTED. as a housepet, her name was daisy, named by her upwalker.the family's upwalker treated the three awfully, not feeding them for weeks. after a while of being treated terribly, the three left, escaping from the hell.but there was a new hell approaching daisy when the family made their new home as rogues in an abandoned barn.REDACTED began to scream at daisy, clawing her and threatening to hurt her (and sometimes hurting her genuinely. wynn told her this was normal, but daisy knew it wasn't.)years of enduring emotional and physical abuse later, daisy met featherfire, a rogue clan cat who promised to help her escape from her father.daisy believed her, and the duo made plans to escape. the night that feather had promised to take her away, bring her to a "clan". whatever that was, to get her away from REDACTED, feather never showed.instead, daisy left the barn in the cover of night, only to find feather's mangled body outside their door- and REDACTED standing over it, blood on his claws.daisy panicked and tried to run, making it through the forest to riverclan, where feather had promised to take her when she was.. alive.when starlingflight, jayfrost, rushwater, and dusklion find the bloodied kit tearing into the clearing and a raging, bloody-clawed rogue tearing after her, the three cats defended the tiny kit from REDACTED, injuring him enough that he runs, leaving daisy safe in the clan.she renames herself to cobweb, is assigned the -kit suffix, and begins her new life.
